We are happy to inform you, that our postdoc - Michał, recently received a research mini-grant funded within the BioS PRA under the strategic program Excellence Initiative at the Jagiellonian University in the academic year 2020/2021.

What EtOH concentration to use for preserving insect samples? We quantified amplifiable COI copies in insects stored at different concentrations, finding substantial DNA degradation <90%. This new result is now a part of our freshly accepted paper, alongside insect fragility measurements!
