Swedish sampling

Between the 17th of June and the 1st of July Ania, Piotr, and Adam Stroiński from the Museum and Institute of Zoology, Polish Academy of Sciences spend their time on insect sampling in various regions of Scandinavia. The sampling was related to Ania's NCN funded Opus project "The patterns, processes, and drivers of insect microbiome variability".

Between the 24th of April and the 3rd of May, Mateusz was collecting some samples of Spanish Auchenorrhyncha across the country. Thanks to that our collection for Sonata Bis 8 project is still growing!

Piotr's Opus 22 recommended for funding!

Yesterday, the results of the Polish National Science Center's OPUS22 research funding competition were announced. The project proposed by Piotr, "Micro-allies in the times of mega-crisis? The role of the microbiome in the response of insect communities to climate change", was recommended for funding :)

Greenland, we will see you again!

Recently, Michał's proposal for the re-visit of Greenland has been accepted for funding. That means that we will have an amazing opportunity to collect samples in the Zackenberg Research Station area (Greenland/Denmark) at an additional time point! That allows us to enlarge the collection of samples from this amazing part of the world.

New NCN project for Ania!

Ania Michalik recently received funding for her new OPUS project "The patterns, processes, and drivers of insect microbiome variability". The research is funded by National Science Centre, Poland.
