It was great to host in Kraków dr Anne Duplouy from the University of Helsinki

During her visit, Anne gave an Institute Seminar entitled "Adding the microbial layers to a 30 year-long
ecological monitoring project", explaining how her research group has studied the roles of symbiotic bacteria in insect communities of the Åland Archopelago. You can read more about Anne's research at her group's website, http://www.anneduplouy.net/.There was also plenty of time for meeting lab members and discussing ongoing and future collaborative research.
