The Symbiosis Evolution Research Group started at the Institute of Environmental Sciences of Jagiellonian University in Kraków in July 2019.

We aim to broadly characterize the ecological and evolutionary dynamics of insect-microbe interactions, using a wide range of approaches: from international fieldwork, through high-throughput sequencing of marker gene amplicons and metagenomes, bioinformatics and genomics, to advanced microscopy, in active collaboration with research groups from around the world.

Also, on this website you can find information on our research, meet the group members, and access publications. Please get in touch in case of any questions or comments!
