Ania Michalik recently received funding for her new OPUS project "The patterns, processes, and drivers of insect microbiome variability". The research is funded by National Science Centre, Poland.

Together with collaborators, Piotr has just published a monograph in Zootaxa about thirteen new species of Chilean Cicadas. Congratulation!

Ania and Piotr were participants of the Polish-French Hemiptera Days 2021 in Paris. During the meeting, they gave a presentation entitled "The diversity and evolution of planthopper symbioses".
