On the 8th of July, our group member - Karol Nowak defended his master thesis entitled "Identifying patterns in microbiome composition across insect communities"!
During the preparation of the thesis, Karol was working with a huge dataset (almost 1500 individuals!) about flies from the family Phoridae. This work is a part of Piotr's Opus 16 project “Insect microbiome dynamics in time and space” no. 2018/31/B/NZ8/01158 funded by Polish National Science Centre (NCN).
Congratulations Karol! You really did an amazing job with the data analysis!
