During XXVI International Congress in Entomology 2022 in Helsinki (17-22nd July 2022), Piotr co-organizes a symposium: Insect microbial symbiont diversity, distribution, roles, and localizations within host cells/tissues/structures.

As a part of the symposium, several members of the lab have presented their work:

Piotr Łukasik: Microbial symbioses as a critical aspect of insect community ecology;

Anna Michalik: Symbiont loss and replacement in Fulgoromorpha (Insecta, Hemiptera);

Sandra Ahlén Mulio: The diversity and spatiotemporal distribution of microbiota associated with Macrosteles leafhoppers (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae).
