Emilia Majewska is a 1st year Masters student of Biology. In our Research Group she focuses on studying biodiversity of symbionts of a leafhopper Verdanus abdominalis, coming from different populations.
She joined our Research Group because of her interest in microbiome and relationships between insects and their symbionts. In her spere time, she likes to knit and crochet. She is also a member of the Astrobiological Section in the Student Naturalist Society of UJ.

Małgorzata Biłko is a second-year bachelor's student majoring in biology. In the team, she prepares samples of aphids and leafhoppers for further analysis of symbionts. Her other interests include topics related to the human microbiome, specifically the microflora of the intestines and human milk and its impact on human health. In her free time, she likes to read books, practice pilates, play video games and also she is interested in preparing costumes for cosplays.

Jagoda is a third-year undergraduate student at the Department of Biology. Jagoda's supervisor is Dr. Anna Michalik, and her undergraduate thesis focuses on characterizing the microbiome of two species of aphids (Myzus persicae, Macrosiphum rosae). Jagoda is interested in the microbiome and practical applications of biological discoveries, mainly bionics.

Nikola Krużołek is a second-year bachelor's student majoring in Biology. In the Team, she is working on the topic of the impact of parasites on the aphid microbiome. Apart from working in the laboratory, she is interested in the human microbiome and its impact on organism functioning. In her free time, she enjoys reading books or doing various types of physical activity.
