Piotr attended the 28th European Meetings for PhD Students in Evolutionary Biology (EMPSEB) in Isle of Cumbrae, Scotland, as an invited Plenary Speaker.

Piotr gave a presentation about how insect-microbe symbioses challenge and expand our understanding of evolutionary processes and patterns.

In addition to other inspiring presentations on all aspects of evolutionary biology, and lots of discussions about processes, patterns, methods, and collaborations, there was a ceilidh dance, Scottish Games, some spece for island exploration, and all-around good times. That was a great event - I highly recommend future editions to all PhD Students!
